The skin layout includes a Banner Pane into which you can place a normal Text/HTML module. Upload and insert your new image into this module and in the module settings turn off "Display Container". Don't worry if your new banner is wider then the ones we include, the skin will seemlessly expand to fit your banner!
You'll then have your own customised banner! It's as simple as that!
